250-word reflection on the Texas Long Range Technology Progress Report

According to results from the 2007-2008, The Texas Long Rage Techonology Report generated noticeable statistical gains and drops in all 4 areas outlined within the topic question. The Target Tech level is where most or all campuses should aspire to be.A summarization of the data is the following:

Progress and Teaching Learning Category: Early Tech is @ 4%, Developmental Tech is @ 70%, Advanced Tech is @ 25 % and Target Tech is @ 1% .

Educator Preparation and Development category. Early Tech is @ 5% , Developing Tech is @ 74% , Advanced Tech is @ 20% and Target Tech is @ 1 %.

Progress in the Leadership, Administration, and Instructional Support:
Early Tech is @ 2% , Developing Tech is @ 49%, Advanced Tech is @ 45% , and Target Tech is @ 4%.

Progress in the Infrastructure for Technology: Early Tech is @ 1% , Developing Tech is @ 35%, Advanced Tech is @ 57% , and Target Tech is @ 7%.

It is evident that Texas's School Districts are headed the right direction. For the most part, the majority of them statistically are at Advanced Tech level, which is one shy of Target Tech. It's work in progress and as technology and students progress, I only hope that our statistics increase to better serve our students.
